This hostname is reserved for the image service, which is still in development. It is not serving transforms, and there is no custom-domain or multi-hostname support today. Requests to it will not succeed yet.
What it will do
- Resize, crop, and format conversion — WebP and AVIF included.
- Signed URLs, so nobody can turn your proxy into their bandwidth.
- Built for throughput on the resize path, so transforms stay fast under load.
- Origin-agnostic: point it at object storage, your own server, or anything over HTTPS.
